[v1.4.0] Style Customization, new enemies, weapons and more!

New Neander-Z update!

  • Style Customization!

We've finally added the option for players to customize their character skin! You can find at the "Style" tab in the store screen, some customization options, including skin pieces:

  • Hat
  • Hair
  • Head
  • Shirt
  • Torso
  • Pants
  • Legs
  • Shoes

For now, you can set each skin piece to either equipped or not equipped (naked). But we pretend to add more items like hats, faces, female characters, disabled characters and more, in the future updates.

It also features skin tone, hair and eye colors. You can choose one of the game animations to preview your current creation. The button "New Character" will prompt you for a name, to save your creation as a preset character. At the top, you can quickly switch between your characters in the dropdown list. All future native characters of the game will be listed first.

  • New Enemies!
  1. Rat:

Watch out for this tiny pesky rodent! While it seems inoffensive, it might be your worst nightmare!

  2. Rute:

She comes out of nowhere, set on fire! She will die eventually, but making sure her fire spreads to whoever tries to harm her...

  • New weapon!

The chainsaw shreds zombies with no effort! While it is full automatic, it is a melee weapon and require Fuel as ammo (new ammo introduced).

For now, the only purpose of the fuel is to power the chainsaw, *BUT*, we already have plenty of plans for it. One of them being a flamethrower weapon! Stay tunned!.

  • New tactical ability!
  1. Double Jump:

One of many tactical ability we are planning to add! It is great to dodge the boss hit when you need to get upclose, or to combo with explosives... Use as you like!

Here's what else has changed: (Feature, Improvement, Bugfix)

  1. Added cooldown indicators as circular progress bars! Now you can visually understand how much time is left to perform some actions like reload, roll, interact and so on.
  2. Added dynamic fire particles. It spawns on enemies or players that are set on fire, to indicate this effect. The greater the number of particles, more time is remaining to burn.
  3. Added sound effects to the player's death animation.
  4. Fixed bug where the button's tooltip would stuck enabled when the button is disabled.
